An interesting theory for why this is good is if we want to treat this 4-bit data as 1-bit data, we want the subarray

. It's easier to directly acess in little endian as just
data, instead of in big endian where it would be
data. So, storing stuff backwards makes it easier to chop off the LSBs data, since that's the suffix.
